1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Ghost ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Ghost.

2. Description of Service

Ghost is an AI avatar video creation service available on iOS. It provides two core modes: Studio Mode (script-driven AI avatar video generation) and Mirror Mode (motion transfer from user video to AI avatar). Video generation is powered by third-party AI services including fal.ai.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use Ghost only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or violates others' rights
  • Create deepfakes or synthetic media depicting real people without their consent
  • Use the service to impersonate others in a deceptive or harmful manner
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service infrastructure
  • Generate content that violates Apple's App Store guidelines
  • Upload videos of other people without their consent for Mirror Mode processing

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

4. AI-Generated Content and Ownership

You own the output videos generated using your account. By generating a video, you represent that you have the rights to any input material you provide. You grant Ghost a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the service.

AI-generated content is produced by third-party AI models. We do not guarantee that outputs are free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for how you use and distribute the generated content.

5. Credits and Payments

Ghost uses a credit system. Credits are purchased via Apple's App Store in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple's payment terms and refund policies. Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred to another account.

Subscription plans automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

6. Disclaimers

AI video generation is inherently variable. We do not guarantee that generated videos will meet any particular quality standard. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GHOST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account). Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon voluntary account deletion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
